Arrangement is being made for a 'painting together' session in November 2021, via Zoom. Please stay tuned for details.

During July and August, our President, Ben Lee, will organize Plein air outings every other week, weather permitted. Members will be informed of details. Please stay tuned.

Due to the pandemic and lockdown, the show this year continues to be online from April 5, 2021. Our member artists have been working hard during this period and creating beautiful paintings for art lovers.  Please goto the 2021 Show Page.

We had an online live demo on February 17, 2021  by Valerie Kent. Please see demo.    

We had another zoom meeting on January 20, 2021 with a demo by Betty Wong. She had a demo with us before and this is another good one with two painting demos! See demo.  

We had a wonderful 'critique session',  It went well and smooth despite our first attempt on Zoom.  There were 25 paintings submitted. We all critique each other’s work. It was gratifying, and we have all learnt from each other.  We also had our member and master...

Congratulations to our President Ben Lee, who was awarded the Cultural Builder Award in the Richmond Hill 2020 Arts Cultural Summit. We missed the award presentation because of the Pandemic and here we have the virtual presentation. Click to watch.

Momin did a live demo for DWA members on June 17, the first live Zoom meeting for the group. It was well attended.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the closure of community centres, DWA has to call off its monthly meetings for April and May.  

DWA’s Honorary Director Stephan Yau shared his demo video with DWA members on May 20. The over 1 hour video let members see how Stephen created a lovely winter scene from scratch, using watercolour.
